| Losing Weight |
"Losing weight requires major lifestyle changes, including diet & nutrition, exercise, behavior manipulation, and--when appropriate--intervention with drug therapy,". Overweight refers to an excess of body weight, but not necessarily body fat. To be successful at losing weight, you require to change your lifestyle--not go on a diet. Weight loss pills & supplements have been around for a long time. Weight loss can reduce these risks, but keeping that lost weight off is never easy. In fact, weight loss doesn't even have to involve strange diets, special exercises or even the 'magic' of pills or fitness gadgets. Use a calorie calculator to figure out how lots of calories you burn while sitting, standing, exercising, lifting weights, etc. If you are eating less calories than you are burning, you'll lose weight. Infact, you can start losing weight right now by making a few simple changes. Excess weight can also cause interrupted breathing during sleep (sleep apnea) & wearing away of the joints (osteoarthritis). Most health experts recommend a combination of a reduced-calorie diet & increased physical activity for weight loss. What your brain perceives as appropriate food intake levels can then exceed your body's metabolism, generating weight gain. Severely obese women should lose weight during pregnancy, while obese women who are pregnant should gain. The high fiber content of lots of of these foods may help you to feel full with fewer calories. Keep your intake of saturated fat, trans fat, & cholesterol as low as possible. Foods high in saturated fats include high-fat dairy products (like cheese, whole milk, cream, butter, & regular ice cream), fatty fresh & processed meats, the skin & fat of poultry, lard, palm oil, & coconut oil. Trans fat can often be found in processed foods made with partially hydrogenated vegetable oils such as vegetable shortenings, some margarines (for example, stick margarines that are hard), crackers, cookies, candies, snack foods, fried foods & baked goods. Eating much fat, saturated fat, trans fat, cholesterol, or sodium may increase your risk for chronic diseases like heart disease, diabetes, some cancers, or high blood pressure.

| Smoking Cessation |
Smoking cessation means the effort to stop smoking tobacco products. Smoking cessation will almost always lead to a longer and healthier life. Upon smoking cessation, the body begins to rid itself of naturally foreign substances introduced to the body through smoking. Many of the effects of smoking cessation can be seen as landmarks, often cired by smoking cessation services, by which a smoker can encourge his or herself to keep going. It's not uncommon to gain a little weight when we stop smoking. The most common short-term effects of stopping smoking are increased irritability, depression, anxiety, restlessness, difficulty concentrating, increased appetite, constipation, mouth ulcers and increased susceptibility to upper respiratory tract infections. Studies have shown that an effective method for quitting smoking is cognitive behaviour therapy or CBT. Each attempt is a learning experience that moves them that much closer to their goal of eventual permanent freedom from smoking. Quitting smoking is especially difficult during certain phases of the reproductive cycle, phases that have also been associated with greater levels of dysphoria, and subgroups of women who have a high risk of continuing to smoke also have a high risk of developing depression. As with other addictions, apart from the dependance of the body on chemical substances, a smoking addiction is often related to everyday lifestyle events, which can include thinking deeply, eating, drinking tea or coffee or alcohol, or general socialising. A new study shows a strong chemical connection between drinking and smoking. "Tobacco use, particularly cigarette smoking, is the single most preventable cause of death and is responsible for a growing list of cancers as well as chronic diseases including those of the lung and heart. Tobacco use is one of the major causes of death worldwide, according to the World Health Organization. Nicotine is an addictive substance, especially when taken in by inhaling tobacco because of the rapid absorption through the lungs. A range of population level strategies such as advertising campaigns, smoking restriction policies, and tobacco taxes have been used to promote smoking cessation. Nicotine gum, lozenges, patches, and other medicines can help reduce the cravings without the harmful effects of tobacco.

| Laser Hair Removal |
Hair removal is commonly done on lip, chin, ear lobe, shoulders, back, underarm, abdomen, buttocks, pubic area, bikini lines, face, arms, thigh, chest, arms, legs, hands, and toes. Hair removal lasers selectively target Melanin:Melanin is the pigment found in black hairs, skin and retina. Both men and women seek laser hair removal services remove unnecessary hairs of the body.
There are many different ways to remove unwanted hair including plucking, electronic tweezers, waxing, radiofrequency tweezers, depilatories (creams), shaving and electrolysis (inserting a needle into each hair follicle one at a time followed by an electric spark to burn out the follicle). Lasers is the only method for permanent hair reduction. Lasers with longer wavelengths, such as the YAG lasers, have the ability to treat darker skin types including African-American skin. Light is absorbed by dark objects, so laser energy can be absorbed by dark material in the skin with much more speed and intensity ( Melanin ). Laser hair removal has become extensivly popular because of its speed and efficacy, although some of the efficacy is dependent upon the skill and experience of the laser operator, and the choice and availability of different laser technology at the centre performing the procedure. It's important to realize that laser does not work on light hair and very fine. The site to be treated may be shaved one to two days before to laser treatment. The efficacy of laser hair removal is now generally accepted in the dermatology community, and laser hair removal is widely performed. Laser hair reduction should be performed under the direct supervision of a dermatologist, a person who specializes in the medical, surgical, and cosmetic treatment of hair and hair diseases, and who is trained to help manage hair and skin problems. Everyone in the room must wear protective eyewear while performing the laser procedure. The laser energy passes through the patient's skin, being absorbed by the pigment (Melanin) in the hair follicle. Sometimes there is a temporary slight reddening of the skin or slight swelling. Side effects of laser hair removal treatments include acute inflammatory response of the body like pain, perifollicular edema (swelling around the hair follicle due to excessive fluid), and erythema (redness and inflammation) lasting for few days. The costs of laser hair removal vary by vendor, and by surface area and location on the body treated. A large area of the skin can be treated at one time making laser hair removal very effective and faster than any other methods. So far laser hair removal is the best way for permanent removal of unwanted hair from the body. |

| Better Health Care |
Health means being sound in body and mind and having power of growth, as well as development, healing and regeneration.
Pateints and Doctors vary in the believes and attitude towards each other as well as expectations.Good doctors are good team players and nobody knows how to relate to very patient and his unique needs and desires. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for infants, children, and adolescents, and to makes sure everyone gets high-quality health care as good or better than they have now.Study has showed many times that better health care is not tied to high costs. We are here to provide you better information about your health and treatment options. Patients in hospitals that spend more tend to receive worse care because of poor coordination between staff members, and at places where spending is more aggressive, patients see a wide variety of doctors, making systemized care.
"Unfortunately, the health-care system has been very slow to embrace engineering tools and clinical information technologies that could transform it from an underperforming conglomerate of independent entities into a high-performance system. As many as 1,200 providers could receive Medicare incentive payments in exchange for adopting and using certified electronic health records to improve the quality of care and reduce errors.Accelerating the adoption and utilization of health information technology (IT) by the medical community will produce better care and fewer medical errors.
Our goal is to provide you with quality health care and still control the rising costs of care. Makes sure everyone gets high-quality health care as good or better than they have now. |
